When asked about the creative process of making "Applications" Jonez had this to say: "I felt the pressures of the weight of the world on my back. I've felt like maybe I need to go back into the street life and make some fast money to survive. I've really felt like leaving this earth because of all the resistance from my so called family and friends. BUT GOD!! I had to look into my wife and kids eyes and remember this is the only reason to keep going forth. But I definitely felt hated, talked about and stabbed in the back. They hated Christ, they'll hate me. it's all on His timing regardless. We are taught to love regardless."
